The Cognitive Triangle: We will map out how your automatic thoughts influence your mood and physical sensations.
Guided Discovery: Through questioning and practical steps to take in daily life, we will test whether your beliefs are based on facts or feelings.
Skill-Building: You will learn practical tools, such as progressive muscle relaxation for physical tension and problem-solving techniques for daily stressors.
The goal is to move from being overwhelmed by your environment to having a toolbox of responses for when difficult life events inevitably occur.
